☀️ 4. Give It the Right Light

The Christmas cactus loves light — but not direct sunlight. Too much sun can burn its leaves, while too little can prevent it from blooming.

The perfect spot is near a north or east-facing window with bright but indirect light. During the growing season (spring and summer), you can even move it outdoors to a shaded terrace or balcony.

If you notice the stems turning red or yellow, it’s a sign of too much sun. Move the plant to a softer light location.

🌡️ 5. Maintain Ideal Temperature and Humidity

The ideal temperature range for a Christmas cactus is 15°C to 21°C (59°F to 70°F). It also loves humidity, so if your home is dry — especially in winter — you can:

  • Place a tray with pebbles and water under the pot (without submerging it).

  • Mist the leaves lightly with water every few days.

  • Keep it away from heaters or radiators, which dry out the air.
