One-Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Butter Pasta

Ingredients

**For the Pasta and Beef:**
– 1 lb ground beef (lean or 80/20)
– 12 oz pasta (such as penne, rotini, or spaghetti)
– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 medium onion, finely chopped
– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
– Salt and black pepper, to taste
– 2 cups beef broth (or chicken broth)
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

**For Garnish (optional):**
– Fresh parsley, chopped
– Additional grated Parmesan cheese
