There are seasons in life that test us in ways we never expect. So months earlier, I opened a private account in my own name and moved my personal savings there. It wasn’t an act of bitterness. It was self-protection, a gentle acknowledgment that I needed to secure my future no matter what happened.
When he finally walked out, I realized I wasn’t broken. I was simply being given space to rebuild.
