Toothpaste and onion for natural hair removal

  • Toothpaste: an unexpected exfoliant

Used only in the  classic white version (without gel or bleaching agents) , it often contains baking soda and menthol. Result? A gentle exfoliation that  prepares the skin  and softens the hair.

  • Onion juice: the anti-regrowth ally

Rich in sulfur compounds, onion juice  could gradually weaken the structure of hair (keratin).  With continued use, it could help make hair thinner,  less noticeable , and slow down hair regrowth.

Together, these two ingredients form an amazing paste that’s easy to make at home and could help you space out your waxing sessions.

How to prepare this homemade treatment in 3 minutes flat

What you need:

  • 1 tablespoon of classic white toothpaste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh onion juice  (grate or blend one onion, then strain)
  • A small bowl

Steps:

  1. Mix the two ingredients in the bowl until you get a smooth paste.
  2. Apply to the desired area  (lips, legs, arms, armpits, etc.).
  3. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Gently massage in circular motions to exfoliate.
  5. Rinse with lukewarm water, then apply a moisturizer  (coconut oil, aloe vera gel, etc.).
