Prepare the Machine: Ensure the drum is completely empty.

Set the Cycle: Select the hottest water setting and the longest wash cycle available.

Start and Soak (Optional): Start the cycle. For a heavy clean, pause the cycle after it has filled and let the machine soak for 60 minutes before restarting.

Scrub and Wipe: While the cycle runs, use a cloth dipped in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution to wipe down the lid, dispensers, and exterior. For mildew on the agitator, scrub with a paste of vinegar and baking soda.

Final Rinse: Once the cleaning cycle is complete, run an additional rinse cycle with plain water to flush out any loosened residue.
