How to Make Creamy Paprika Steak Shells

1. Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • Add the pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Sear the Steak

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Season the steak slices with salt, pepper, and half the paprika.
  • Sear the steak in batches until browned and cooked to your liking (medium rare to medium works well).
  • Remove steak from skillet and set aside.

3. Prepare the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed.
  • Sauté the onion until soft and translucent.
  • Add garlic and the remaining paprika; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
