How to Make Creamy Paprika Steak Shells
1. Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta shells and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
2. Sear the Steak
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak slices with salt, pepper, and half the paprika.
- Sear the steak in batches until browned and cooked to your liking (medium rare to medium works well).
- Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
3. Prepare the Sauce
- In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed.
- Sauté the onion until soft and translucent.
- Add garlic and the remaining paprika; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the beef broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
